“Ok, here’s the master plan, gentlemen: We call him... a liar!” ”LYIN’ COMEY LYIN’ COMEY SQUAAAAAAK” ”Perfect, Mr. President!! That’ll be the name of the website!”
And now they're deleting Youtube comments..
I've already seen Facebook comments from friends of relatives saying Comey should be in jail. Why? Because he's a deep state anti-Trump liar, obviously. We really, really need to dismantle the media propaganda machine that's slowly been expanded since Reagan wiped out the Fairness Doctrine. It's the only reason we're in this gigantic fucking mess - ever since Republicans sold their fucking soul to extremist fuck-you-got-mine wealth-gospel evangelical hypocrites with zero moral compass, we've been dealing with the sorts of bad-faith political actors we usually only see in third-world countries. We need to beef up the FTC, FCC, and other federal organizations to trust-bust the fuck out of major organizations and to enforce significant privacy and data security regulations on websites. We need informed regulations on algorithmic content delivery systems to ensure that they can balance used-desired content with factual news information. Republicans have been working their asses off since the Nixon administration to build a gigantic propaganda machine. They succeeded, and they've used it to spread lies and pure disinformation to weaken the unity of our nation for political gain. Now they're using it to slander and defame individual career government actors with stellar records, like Comey and Mueller. After the midterms, once Trump's in jail, we're going to need a no-holds-barred anti-trust DNC that doesn't even attempt to "reach across the aisle." We've been trying that for decades. It doesn't work and it's incredibly naive. You can't negotiate with a party that's proven that it doesn't believe in democracy or the rule of law. How do we fix it? Dismantle everything that ever allowed the propaganda arm of the GOP to thrive while masquerading as news. Trust-bust everything. Pass legislation drastically increasing the enforcement power of the FCC, FTC, FDA, and every other alphabet soup organization. Pump money into rural infrastructure so Trump voters can physically see that Democrats are actually working to improve their lives, while Trump did fuck-all. Trump's legacy should be as a catalyst for a period of American prosperity via the retaliatory destruction of everything his party has ever stood for. If America's response to Trump involves anything other than the total and utter destruction of the GOP as a political power, it will be inadequate. We shouldn't touch the voters, who are simply expressing their inviolable right to vote (however misinformed), but we should dismantle every political tool that the party itself uses to seize power and disrespect our democracy - political gerrymandering, biased disinformation/propaganda networks, everything. We fucked up Reconstruction last time - this time, let's follow through and work to repair the deep-seated flaws in our society that keep leading to this kind of spiteful reactionary populism.
Well, honestly, I wasn't sure at first, but now I'm convinced: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/242634/5abb3e92-3483-42c0-a04b-3ab8a166f809/thetruth.png
they said it's true so it must be
For those without adblock, this pops up immediately on loading the page: https://i.imgur.com/axT7osf.png And at the bottom of the page, it says the website is paid for by the RNC and links to the GOPs main website. It continues to amaze me that no matter how much insanity has come from this presidency, I'm still capable of being surprised. Has this ever happened to such a degree in recent US history? Because this seems so far beyond the pale that there's no genuine precedent; even Watergate seems tame.
I forgot I installed this https://file.house/wj2q.png
Liar liar plants for hire. Has name-calling as a means to gain ever been an effective strategy for anyone beyond 3rd graders?
