Saturday night is coming
Friday is the new Saturday because Saturday is Golf Day and Trump's not going to do work on Golf Day.
Dark clouds are gathering... The future of the USA is at stake
Typical of Hollywood to reboot it as "Friday the 13th Massacre"!
Don't give in, Rosenstein. Be a figther, for you democracy and mine Don't let that big orange bully get you down, pull up your bootstraps and stand your ground If Trump comes a'knocking, brace yourself for lots of mocking But the tide's a'turnin', America's fire's a'burnin' Mueller's coming to save the day, so fight the good fight, while we hope and pray. *(No ghostwriters were forcefully silenced via settlements and/or NDA's in the making of this rhyme.)
i hope to god people can separate this from being a "Left-Right-wing" shit show and realize this is the beginning of a Constitutional Crisis. I dont give a flying fuck if you're Democrat, Republic, Libertarian, or whatever. But if you're actively trying to go against the constitution and the laws we set up to stop corruption and what not. You're against the people and the government of the United States as a whole.
The nutjobs who still follow their "God-emperor" will just look at firing Rosenstein & Mueller as a power-move and they will if anything just heil salute worship him for it even more.
MSNBC is reporting an upcoming WH press briefing, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is currently badmouthing Rosenstein and the Mueller investigation with a healthy dose of Crooked Hillary whataboutism thrown in for good measure.
HE SAYS IT LIKE IT IIIIIISSS We really need to come to terms that people are just trying to 'live vicariously through Trump' as they imagine that they are Trump and Trump is them. It's fanatical roleplaying which was pushed onto a crowd of bullies and bigots who are watching all this like it was a wrestling match rather than a battle for literally the future of their lives.
I'd like to ask the stupid fucks who actually think this way just what that even fucking means, in their own words. What is "like it is"? Because I get the feeling I'd get a lot of stammering and "uhhh"
"Like it is" can be directly replaced with "How I think it is or should be" and would be both perfectly accurate and wholly representative.
Guys...I think it's coming tonight. https://mobile.twitter.com/NatashaBertrand/status/984876326342529030?s=19 FOX is always tipped off before Trump fires somebody.
i can’t believe democracy is fucking dead
Democracy is the will of its people. It can not die so long as there are enough who wish to ensure that it lives on.
Apparently one of these people were not really so much of a confidante.
In spirit yeah, but without a state to enforce and respect the institution, it doesn't exist as anything more than philosophy. i.e. what good is voting if there is no mechanism to enforce the results of the vote?
The spirit is that which makes the institutions. Our nation was originally not an independent Democracy until its people decided it would become one.
I think I'm missing some subtext here, sorry. I don't get how what you say follows from what she said.
FOX is always tipped off before Trump fires somebody. Fox is reporting Rosenstein's getting the boot, while the White House is saying everything is a-ok and nobody else knows what's going on. We've been through this before with Trump firings.
Get ready to take to the streets, my fellow Americans. We might have to take back our democracy soon.
I'm starting to imagine some nightmare scenario where people actually go out to protest this blatantly corrupt shit but then you'll get all the NRA nutjobs crawling out the woodwork to defend their god king using the same rights given to them to prevent this from happening in the first place.
While that would be a nightmare scenario because of the major casualties, it'd also be a massive tipping point against the right. They would be literal fascists shooting at fellow citizens exercising their constitutional right to protest the government. The victims would be martyrs in the battle for democracy and the rule of law, and public opinion would hopefully slam the pro-Trump movement into the fringes so hard their dicks wouldn't pee straight for a month. If that wasn't the beginning of the choking death of the second amendment and the Republican party, as well as the trigger for immediate and speedy impeachment proceedings in the House, then America was already lost before the protests began.
Civil War 2: The Dumb Version.
...then again, to play devil's advocate, Trump was literally unable to bring himself to denounce literal Neo-Nazis that killed people in an act of terrorism. That, plus his mouth-breathing followers embraced the "Very Fine People on both sides!" and "Alt-Left" memes, and that did nothing to Trump in the long run, so who knows anymore.
That's why the word "hopefully" appears in I wish I didn't have to qualify that, but that would mean confidently trusting the American people to collectively do the right thing, and furthermore for the Republican-controlled Congress to do the right thing, and since Trump was elected all bets are off.
I fucking hate that this guy is my rep, he's littereally trash wrapped in a leather bag that spews shit everywhere, and because of my fucked up district he gets to coast to reelection without ever worrying about campaigning on my half of the state where all the hispanics, liberals, and actual job holders live.
