I'm starting to imagine some nightmare scenario where people actually go out to protest this blatantly corrupt shit but then you'll get all the NRA nutjobs crawling out the woodwork to defend their god king using the same rights given to them to prevent this from happening in the first place.
While that would be a nightmare scenario because of the major casualties, it'd also be a massive tipping point against the right. They would be literal fascists shooting at fellow citizens exercising their constitutional right to protest the government. The victims would be martyrs in the battle for democracy and the rule of law, and public opinion would hopefully slam the pro-Trump movement into the fringes so hard their dicks wouldn't pee straight for a month.
If that wasn't the beginning of the choking death of the second amendment and the Republican party, as well as the trigger for immediate and speedy impeachment proceedings in the House, then America was already lost before the protests began.
