I like how Hong Kong looks like it's the only enclave of DOTA2/TF2(I can't tell the color to be honest with how small it is) players surrounded by PUBG. And the only other nations playing PUBG are the Korea's.
Looks like china is indeed numbah one.
Not surprised with DOTA / PUBG.
Why is this map not completely orange? burn the heretics!
Neat to see that a teenager's game (Unturned) is being played by a bunch of people in a couple South American countries
ITS NOT. TAIWAN NUMBER 1, forever.
Wasn't some FP member's CS:Source map found on Osama's computer?
So the only person with internet access in North Korea plays DOTA? Cool

The fuck did I just watch.
What if Osama Bin Laden was a Facepunch shitposter?

Coincidentally there's a TF2 map set in Hong Kong as part of the Sleeping Dogs promo, wonder if it's liked there.

Oh man we gotta find that thread again
surprised tf2 even ranks in this day and age considering dota is free, and i say that as an active community member.
https://forum.facepunch.com/f/sh/umpr/CIA-Releases-a-Cache-of-Files-on-Bin-Ladan-s-Computer-Among-Them-Tom-and-Jerry-Final-Fantasy-7 i think it was this one, i don't think it was a custom map
That thread was a gold mine (and I'm surprised it was only months ago)! I'm gonna go reread it now for a trip down memory lane.
Glad to see TF2 still fighting the good fight, at least in most major English-speaking territories. Thought for sure DotA would've been over the whole world, but it seems largely limited to the East. Also neat to see that the unholy trifecta of eSports-obsessed nations (Russia, Brazil, S. Korea) are all focused on different games at the moment. I would've expected Russia and Brazil's favorites to be reversed, though.
Would've loved to have seen the Vatican with CS:GO and finding out the Pope explicitly only plays as terrorists and has a cardinal play the A-T rounds or if by some chance SMITE was included in this just for the Vatican lol
Huh, Unturned? I'm genuinely surprised. I haven't seen any of my contacts in Steam play that game since ages nor Unturned merchandise.  That reminds me of that time I met a kid on Payday 2. He was talking about how his economical situation was shit, and got Payday 2 when it was free. He tried his best to enjoy it even with the lack of DLC and content. His dad was unemployed and the kid wanted to buy something, but couldn't force his dad to do so. Hope he's a-right  Thing is, buying games has become easier and easier the past five or six years, but people can't spent a crazy amount of money in games/the income doesn't allow for it. Thus, people go to free/easy-to-run games or plain piracy.

My own country is grayed out nice
India loving the shit out of Dota 2 doesn't surprise me, Chess is yuge in Indian culture and Dota is all about the dem strats, so to the surprise of absolutely no one, it's the best game for Indian people to geek out on. Most uni's and colleges in India have their own little Dota 2 leagues and tourneys now.
Well I mean it probably contributes largely to it but it should also be noted that the Chinese version of Dota 2 doesn't go through the Steam client (don't know about CS:GO, and I doubt TF2 is very popular over there anyway).
CS:GO got its own version as well now afaik for China. Nothing for TF2 though, which is not a surprise.
