Yeah nice, why don't we just turn this into another tactical SWAT shooter set in modern times LA? I personally think we should add more things that are, well, rusty, you know what I mean? like a microwave gun that pierces armor and does radiation damage, or an anti-personnel lower-workbench rocket launcher that rapidly fires smaller rockets. There's a reason this game is called Rust after all, and I like that theme. I don't think we need to make high quality, civilized guns the norm in a game about a bunch of criminals scavenging for random pieces of metal to make guns out of. My favorite weapons are those from the lower levels, like the water pipe shotgun or the crossbow, not the late game ones that the game feel like a tactical shooter.
A really awesome burst-fire weapon would be pretty cool though
They should focus on improving and balancing the weapons they already have. I think we already have a good amount of weapons for the theme.

No I'm not, I'm just saying that this isn't a military war zone that requires only the finest of weapons crafted by trained professionals to be supply dropped in to support their troops, this is some random island with some scientists studying a bunch of criminals trying to kill each other with stuff that will usually blow up in their face.
I think that the current amount of military technology on an island full of criminals is just fine, are you saying that they should be ubiquitous?
And what do you mean get a hold of myself! I was just telling you what I thought about the game's theme and that we should preserve it. In a survival situation are you telling me that on an abandoned island we should have a complete arsenal of military grade weapons with lots of variety? I think that those few, rare, high quality guns have their place in the game, but the way the rest of you talk about them makes it seem like you want them to be the staple of it.

Personally I think all weapons should be basic home weapons, Bow, Crossbows, revolvers, semi autos, shotguns, I don't think we should have any full auto weapons!
Because in reality it takes 6 months and tax stamps to own one so none of use would have one anyway!
