Apologies if this is in the wrong section. My friend was trying to find a youtube video I send him, but it got removed . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGyitXJln94 He put it in one of those youtube converter sites, most didn't work but there were a couple sites that pulled the video. A site worked for me is https://www.flvto.biz/ , but be warned the site tries to give those "Your computer has a virus" pop-up tab when you download your file. This was the video that was pulled https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/173575/d2396ceb-a18c-4b85-abd5-3cc307075ff4/T-pose niggas be like.mp4 You can see from this reddit post of the video that the URL matches the above removed video and has the same content in the thumbnail.
The video here seems to have been removed by Youtube, but is it possible to download a video that was removed by the user?
I'm not sure, I'm gonna delete one of my videos later and find out.
I have a few deleted videos Ive wanted to recover bookmarked, seeing if it works. So far stuck at 5%
Didn't work for https://youtu.be/2AUOLcJAGXw
Here's the thing I believe - this downloader was once used to download this video before, and thus it already has it saved somewhere. Try doing a youtube-to-mp3 conversion on a popular music video, and then a video that has like, one view.
Now if only there was a way to find out if any video downloaders have these cached anywhere
Hi, I just wanted to pipe in and say that this particular downloader also worked for me, on a video that didn't have many views and was deleted by the user within a few hours of when it was uploaded to begin with. I was searching everywhere for a way to recover deleted youtube videos, just because somebody made a song that I really liked but the creator decided they didn't like it so they deleted it. I tried all the youtube downloaders and none of them worked, and it was seemingly not archived or cached anywhere either, because of how quickly it was deleted. I was giving up hope until I found this post, and this downloader worked. So I don't think it's a coincidence or because somebody happened to have previously used this downloader to download the video the TC got. I think it's safe to say there is something special about this particular downloader compared to most others. <3
Definitely cached https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd2pZWwrUvs https://i.imgur.com/OxMUcO0.png
Our database at work used to mark things for deletion before truly removing them. It could just be that.
