Why are we still here? Just to suffer? The amazing gameplay I've lost, the amazing storylines I've lost, it WON'T STOP HURTING!
Atleast it's not pachinko machine
Konami really wants to take that golden poo award from EA
oh god, is it going to be filled with microtransaction?
It's confirmed to have microtransactions, and it looks similar to a crappy F2P game, so...
Y'know, despite everything they still keep doing to other franchises (especially Metal Gear), I'm still mostly just ticked off about what they did to YGO in the past few years.
ARC-V deserved better, goddamn it.
Asian F2P mobile games are mobile pachinko machines.
Scientists baffled by company's incredible ability to fuck up every time.
If this makes no money it’s proof that people don’t care about Castlevania, and they never make another Castlevania game.
If this is super successful it’s proof that people only want mobile multiplayer Castlevania games, and they never make another real Castlevania game.
Either way, we all lose.
I was expecting a Harmony of Despair type of game but this seems nothing like it.
Konami: The EA of The East.

They used to be a decent company many years back, too. Suidoken, Metal Gear, Contra, Bloody Roar, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Bomberman, Gradius, Silent Scope, Zone Of The Enders, etc.
Hell I remember they made a ton of decent Arcade games too. (That weren't Pachinko)
I don't even care anymore
This company isn't your friend. Your fried died long ago. Now they've been replaced by someone wearing his cloths and name.
MGS can't continue without Kojima, Castlevania can't continue without IGA. Silent Hill also died sometime 10+ years ago. RIP some of my favorite series
Knowing mobile games, I won't be surprised if this become somewhat successful
You know, the striking thing is just how quick they went from OK tier company to complete dogshit EA tier. Like EA has never not been bad, but you'd think with a spree of successful games and a big investment in a custom game engine that was leagues above the rest, they'd have wanted to capitalize on it and develop for it, but no, someone decided at the top to change the entire footing of the company into pachinco machines, shitty mobiles and half baked zombie metal gears.
Can't wait to pay $5.00 to get a longer whip.
At least Igarashi's actually trying to keep the spirit alive, I've given up on Konami atogether.
When it comes out, I'll try it and then put money into bloodstained like I should have a long time ago.
This is how you really vote with your wallet. Putting it into the companies that deserve it
And I was starting to get genuinely hyped for the future of Castlevania.
OK, I won't despair unless E3 passes with no announcement for an actual castlevania game
I wouldn't hold out much hope for Bloodstained, personally. We already tried the whole "series' head honcho breaks off from IP-holder and launches a spiritual successor on Kickstarter" thing twice already, and the results haven't been promising. Yooka-Laylee was polarizing and Mighty No. 9 was an outright mess. This so-called "Kicksubstitute" idea doesn't appear to work.
Everything I've seen so far about Bloodstained looks promising, though. I doubt it's going to be as good as the DS Castlevania games, but we've at least been getting a lot of transparency and frequent updates.
It's not like they're splitting the funds between an ugly animated cartoon or using developers that haven't touched a relevant project in 15 years either.
I thought the Castlevania Netflix series was pretty good...
I was talking about how Mighty No. 9 funneled a lot of its money towards things other than the game itself, one of which was a cartoon that was cancelled pretty quickly.
