I recently setup a new server that I'm hoping will offer a rewarding experience for players that are looking for something more than the other kill-everyone-free-for-all found on most servers.
Players I am targeting are other working adults, like myself, and want to be able to gradually build up without being wiped out my some troll that plays 20+hrs a day.
Firstly, I have added a degree offline raid protection so if you are a regular player, you can't be offline raided.
I am not looking to get rid of PvP entirely, just trying to find balance between PvP and building.
To add some challenge and reward, there are military patrols near most radtowns that you can shoot and loot. Also added a helicopter crash event where you can also get loot.
I also added a few other features such as instant crafting, increased stacks, and access to 1000+ item skins.
I've only had this going for about a week, but I think the AI gameplay is the point that it is ready for more players. Come check it out and get in at the beginning of what I hope will become one of the best servers in the Rust world.
