GMOD Minimizing to desktop every 10/15 minutes

TL;DR
Gmod keeps crashing every 10/15 minutes whilst playing. have tried lots of fixes and am turning here for some support incase im being a tad stupid

Ok so some pretence:
I first got this issue a week or two ago. Basically Ill be playing on a server and out of nowhere GMOD will minimize to the desktop with no popup window or "hl2.exe has stopped responding" at all.

Specs as followed:
NVidea GTX 1050ti
Intel Core i5-6400
16 GB DDR4 Ram
2TB HDD

I have tried almost every way I can think of and have trawled through forums and help threads for suggestions.

Things I have tried:
Adding stuff to launch options, namely -32bit -autoconfig -windowed +mat_dxlevel 95 etc
Lowest graphics settings
Removing my autoconfig
Reinstalled GMOD
Uninstalled all addons/Reinstalled them
Uninstalling all source games (TF2, CS:GO, SCP, Etc)
Installing CSS, HL1, HL2 Maps and Textures from 2017 (Even tho thats only textures)

What happens:
I will be randomly walking along and suddenly the game will:
a) Close itself straight to desktop requiring a relaunch with no error message
b) The game will freeze and the "stopped responding, Looking for fix" thing will open

I have never crashed in the Menu or Joining a server, always whilst playing. It seems to be happening every 10 minutes or so and is getting rather frustrating
