With him not doing well either I expect him to go quickly.
I wish that Broken Heart Syndrome wasn't a real thing.
Supposedly she is set to be buried at College Station (where I’m at). The funeral might close down the college campus.
I looked her up on wikipedia to get a better idea of her and almost the entire thing was about how sweet of a woman she was. She was conservative but spoke reason that people could get behind regardless of party. RIP
They were interviewing people who've worked with/for her and the ones that really touched me was how she insisted she be called Barbara instead of Mrs. and how on Christmas her and Bush Sr would spend it at home so that they could get as little Secret Service agents working so the rest could spend Christmas with their families. Really kind soul.
Rest in Peace Barbara, you were part of the better Bush Administration. She stuck with George all the way to the end with bad and good times in US House of Representatives, the UN, Chairman of the RNC, China, Director of the CIA, dealing with the Vice Presidency and the Reagans, and the Presidency. It's so disappointing to look at social media at the moment because people seem to be up in arms over the first lady of a President they don't like, and more for the fact she's the mother of a President that brought some bad outcomes overseas. I get you have qualms with the two administrations, but she was mother to more than just GWB (and at the age of 50<, Bush Jr. is solely responsible for his actions. If there was something that I loved about Barbara and Bush Sr., it's that they revealed how the Reagans were rather dismissive at times and even subpar for the Presidency. Now, in light of everything she hated about Trump, here is a bit piece of Trump screwing himself over as a result of his statement on her death. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/986430103075868672/photo/1?tfw_creator=Lee_Moran&tfw_site=HuffPostPol&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.huffingtonpost.com%2Fentry%2Fwhite-house-tribute-barbara-bush-error_us_5ad6e8f4e4b0e4d0715b5189 Leads to: https://twitter.com/Resist_chick1/status/986430324723744769
Bush Sr wasn't that great a president but it was probably the last presidency that didn't prove to be so polarizing.
Bush Sr sat by her casket today and greeted members of the public who came to mourn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyfTpuqmG3E
His solution to aids was "stop being gay" and stayed in the MIddle East way fucking longer than he should have cause christian superiority complex. The economy under him was also hot garbage.

Imagine the shit you get done if the intent projected in this photo actually even sort of matched reality.
I had looked it up previously, but Jimmy Carter didn't attend because his wife was recovering from surgery. https://www.ajc.com/news/jimmy-and-rosalynn-carter-won-attend-barbara-bush-funeral/LWARHUcmLv9y3MiNJrqSrI/
