https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-nGPNn19vE&t=1216s Not exactly any new information being dealt, but it's for sure an entertaining take on an interview vs. the more serious ones he's been in
Damn I knew Comey was tall but shit. Colbert looks small compared to Comey.
I quite like Comey I never had much awareness of him as a person until his testimony, but when I watched it I was immediately struck by the observation that he is clearly an exceptional person. Even in this interview, but especially during the testimony, he's just so concise and professional
I love how difficult YouTube finds his blazer. Also him explaining away his impact on the Clinton campaign comes across as disingenuous to me. As an outsider perspective Trump looks like a symptom of a fuckton of larger issues in America, but I doubt Clinton would've lost had the FBI not announced the investigation. Having explained it away as the least bad option, whilst not procedure too is weird, considering that it's the choice between a certain bad where the FBI directly impacts a political campaign, or there's a potential bad later on. Which they could've dealt with then and there. Makes it especially bad to know they did this to the campaign over no wrongdoing.
It's not just YouTube, it's kind of a rule of thumb when using cameras to not wear striped fabrics because it can create this moire effect.
I agree with him that impeachment would somewhat be letting the public and the legislative branch off the hook, we're all partly responsible even if there was outside propaganda influence. (See last few minutes of the interview)
I kinda disagree, I feel it would send a warning that this is unnaceptable. Sure, it would only treat the symptom, not the cause. But when you have a headache your take a painkiller and drink some water.
