Option to disable alerts regarding ratings for specific posts and/or older than

Could we get the option to disable ratings for either:
Specific posts - If you post something in say SH or PD and it starts getting drowned in ratings (good or bad, doesn't matter), it'd be nice to be able to disable rating notifications for it so you don't have to keep hitting the ratings flag constantly to make the red indicator go away.
Posts older than a certain time - I've noticed that recently I've been getting a couple of ratings from people digging through old threads that are like 1-2 years old or more and quite frankly I'd rather not get notifications about those.
Posts that get more than X number of ratings. Little bit like the first bullet, except it's just if they get more than a certain number of total ratings.
All together - I wouldn't mind a switch in profile settings that just straight up removes notifications or ratings for (me) specifically like how oldpunch had.

I've been in a state of not really being here recently, so I expected no notifications when I got on, only to have a Dumb notification on a post from three months ago on a post in a discussion that has long since passed. I didn't even remember the thread until I clicked it. What's the point of me getting that notification? Like, what conversation is there to be had at this point? I don't care that someone's three months late to a news thread in SH and takes issue with my post(s), three months ago might as well be fifteen years unless I'm specifically looking for a past post to reference in a current one.

Some sort of cutoff option'd be really nice, otherwise I'll probably end up just CSSing the notifications button out of existence.

Is this ever going to be a thing? I've had like 3 or 4 posts in the last week or so alone flooding my alert inbox every hour on the hour.

Like goddamnit I don't care that I just got the 37th of {rating} on a post.

Careful, you are just asking for people to go rate your old posts at this point. I agree 100%. If you post something really stupid or really likeable you get insane spam and usually the first 5-10
ratings reflect the rest.

Ha it's too late for the old posts thing. The day I posted this I got like half a dozen ratings on ancient 3-5 year old posts lol.
