New "DOOM" movie supposed in the works by Universal

Will we ever see Doom back on the screen? Well, actress Nina Bergman (Assassin X) just posted a series of interesting tweets this week, revealing that Universal is prepping a new adaptation of Doom that Bergman will be starring in!
The actress tweeted, “Wow I’m doing the next “Doom” movie w/Universal Pictures! I just signed all the paperwork. I get to go back to Bulgaria again and work with some of my favorite
people. This movie w/a super cool Director AND my new record coming out, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
In a subsequent tweet, Bergman said that the new adaptation will be superior to the 2005 film, as it has a “much better script.”
At this time, no official announcement about a new Doom movie has been made, but we’ve reached out to Universal for comment. So stay tuned for more as we learn it.

This has so much potential to be good, but considering the state of Hollywood I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be trash.

The first one is all right, but man I hope they're actually demons from hell this time. I think there's a lot of room for a big, insane, metal as fuck, acid trip of a journey through the underworld. I never hold out hope for Hollywood to make such a thing, but man, it could be cool.

this is most likely not gonna happen but i think it would be sick if they got GDT to direct it, with fight choreo and cinematography by the dudes from Judge Dredd and Hardcore Henry working together

it's completely unrealistic but imagine how cool it would be to have first person and third person fight sequences at different points

It'd be interesting if they took a leaf out of the recent DOOM game and had like, the split between Doomguy disabling/breaking/hurting whatever the fuck he needs to stop the demons/incursion, the demons trying to wreak havoc, and then normal people just basically playing Samuel Hayden's part.

I really loved that trailer, it's pretty much a mini doom movie.

Also it's cool as fuck how they made an actual praetor suit for some parts (which some people said i was wrong and it was always CG but then the DOOM twitter tweeted this pic)
