Nah. The cubemaps you bake are stored in the map/bsp file. It the players got the map, they ar inclusive.
This is not the case, built cubemaps are stored in materials/maps/*mapname*/ as c###_###_### and c###_###_###.hdr in garrysmod. If he puts the .bsp on a server without manually adding the generated VTF files to the BSP with bspzip or equivalent, people will still see the error.
