You have sniper rifle and you are hitting to enemy's face. But it isn't die because of Metal facemask.
In previous years of Rust, bolt would kill with one shoot. And it was fun. Then 4x scope came and every untalented player used 4x scope on bolt and then they started killing us.
Rust was nice game. But you breake the balance for ''innovation''. this is not innovation. This is bullshit and reason of don't play rust.
You can not show me one rational suggestion for this.

I love the Bolt action rifle with scope and use it all the time, if you cant hit someone more than once with a
scope attached you should give it up, the whole point of the face mask or any other head protection is to stop you killing players with one shot.
The 4x scope , holosight, and laser sight have been out for a long time now, so you will have to learn to live (or die) with them , cannot see them going away

HV does the exact same damage to a metal facemask (80). It just has higher velocity.

HV does do more damage. I have repeatedly 1 shot metal facemask with the bolty. if they are not at 100 health and just at like 90 they WILL die 1 shot. But i agree if you cant hit 2 shots then you dont deserve the kill

And I wanna add this.
I did start with headshot then I hit the body again and again. But the guy was like ambulance.
Even I see headshot - miss - headshot. And no kill.
I wıll not play rust for this.
