Rust crashes when loading any server (around asset warm up 1830/2740)

Rust shuts down automatically when I connect to any server (community or official, even when I connect to a private IP address). The game doesn't freeze, it just closes completely and instantly. It always happens at asset warm up 1830/2740. Changing graphic settings (resolution, windowed or full screen, quality) doesn't do anything. I've restarted steam, restarted my computer, validated the files and reinstalled the game several times.
Playing on AMD Ryzen 7 1700 8core, Nvidea Gforce GTX 1070, 16Gb Ram desktop system with Windows 10 64x installed.

EDIT: I have also tried uninstalling rust, completely cleaning my registry and cashed files and then reinstalling it, but that didn't work either. I also tried starting windows in every possible mode (safe mode, etc.). Maybe one of the startup services made the game crash. Didn't work either.
Disabling my virus protection and firewall didn't do anything.
