Well... Sheet metal is both OP and UP. Would it not make more sense as it required actual sheet metal and no upkeep at all? And SM doors, using for example 2 pieces of that, needing a wooden door and components to make, could be also more durable - like 12 satchels to break. And being made with a lvl I workbench as a non default, yet common BP. I would also see a sheet metal wall tile worth of 4 pieces of the sheet metal component and other tiles respectivelly priced.
that would take forever for anyone to get on door then let alone an entire base
You already have armoured doors why would you want to make sheet metal ones stronger than those ?
