Sometimes it will let me pause the game just fine, but often it will just not let me pause. This happens with both ESC and the tilda key to access console. As far as i know this works on all gamemodes but I'm not confirming as i mainly play DarkRP. I verified the game cache and its all fine, also checked the config.cfg and it's all fine. ESCAPE is binded to cancelselect and ` is binded to toggleconsole. If anyone has any fix i will thank you!
pausing with ESC or ~ only works in singleplayer
No, I've played Garry's Mod for about 4-5 years now and I've always been able to pause on server, this is the first time its happened.
Try Shift + ESC.
