Forced myself to listen to the entire interview. The president of the United States is genuinely an old, raging, homophobic, misogynistic idiot that can't even speak coherently. He apparently forgot to get his wife anything for her birthday that was today, and instead spent half an hour angrily screaming incoherently into his phone for this interview instead of spending time with her.
I honestly can't even believe that he still has people that defend him. At this point I just need to accept that anyone still supporting him just simply has the same level of comprehension skills as Trump, which is to say about a second or third grade level. If I believed in prayer, I sure as hell would be praying for our country right now.
This is honestly fucking beautiful. In one fell swoop, Donald Trump just set up the following:
1) He claims that Michael Cohen barely did any legal work for him. In his own words, "there is an incredibly, incredibly tiny" amount of evidence that could thus be reasonably assumed to apply to attorney-client privilege.
EXCEPT
2) Trump also admits that Cohen legally represented him, "with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal," in what was a colossally stupid attempt to establish that, despite the fact that Cohen did an "incredibly tiny" amount of work for him, he was still technically his attorney, and thus attorney-client privilege exists between them and the seized documents can't be used. The reason this is so fucking stupid is because in admitting that Cohen was representing him in the Stormy Daniels affair he automatically VOIDS attorney-client privilege if a single dollar of campaign money is shown to have been used in that transaction, as that would have violated federal campaign laws with his lawyer being a willing participant. No attorney-client privilege exists when the attorney in question is a partner in or witness to the crime.
Basically, Trump's stupid comment just voided whatever shred of legitimacy he or Cohen may have had to argue attorney-client privilege, because he simultaneously discredited his own argument that attorney-client privilege existed outside of the Stormy Daniels affair, and gave prosecutors everything they needed to pierce the privilege on that.

Egh... From my understanding, when people vote they tend to just stay with one party all the way down the ballot. If more people had voted for Hillary, the Republicans' hold on Congress - weak as it already is - would probably have been even weaker.

At this rate, he's just going to accidentally admit on live national television that his very good friend Putin, such a strong leader, promised to take down Crooked Hillary so the US and Russia could be friends, and that all he asked in return is for Trump to make sure all those nasty sanctions got dropped and that he would stop getting in Russia's way when it tried invading other countries.
Besides those that try to cover for his ass with intent and a stake in the scandals personally, I do feel sorry for all the associates, Secret Service and what have you that have to deal with a madman on a near-daily basis.
