Bring back the display of people currently reading a thread - General

What I'm referring to: On Oldpunch, there was a box at the bottom of the page of each thread when you opened it. This box displayed users that were reading the thread / had the thread open / et cetera. It also displayed how many guests were reading, if any, as well as moderators and admin(s). How should it be implemented: It could honestly be implemented exactly the same way it was before, except with the same style of the current forums (which is great) and possibly not at the bottom of the page. A button at the top and bottom of the page to display said information would be ideal, in my opinion. A minimalist design would be nice since that seems to be in the spirit of the current forums. Compact, pretty, and sleek. Why we should have this: Since we've moved away from VBulletin (hoorah!) which was notorious for limiting and blocking any attempts at feature adding, and just change in general, I feel it would also be in the spirit of NewPunch to begin adding back some of the classics (such as read threads, ticker, more detailed event log, etc) with major improvements that everyone has been whining about forever. I think it'd also be an extra level of transparency, where you can see if there are moderators reading the thread that should have received moderator action(s) hours prior. Thoughts? Suggestions? Cash tips?

Bring it back but make it so only shows mods/admins viewing a thread. I don't really see any reason to list normal users viewing a thread but the thing you said about mods/admins who've seen a thread where action was required is a good point.

The one thing I feel should be added for privacy reasons is it being disabled for certain boards, ie. Schindler Fist.
