is it because he doesn't want to make the country mad at Russia?
plot twist its an attempt to hide collusion in the assassination of jfk, trump's just been playing the long game since 1963
Why do I have a feeling that Trump is doing this as a "wanna see? Then I'd better get reelected" ploy? Or is that giving it too much credit?
Nah it's just "everybody look at me look at this thing I can do."
Alex Jones was right, my god.
At the very least, I'm no longer regretful for my Bernie/Hillary votes, since we all appear to have fallen for reptiles.
Is there anything secret or confidential that needs hiding from that long ago?
can someone shop alex jones with jfk and trump in the background having the words saying, "they played us like a fiddle"
Could Kennedy have known the whereabouts of Trump's pisstapes???
clearly colluding to help Ted "my father killed JFK" Cruz's re-election. Why else would mr. Ted, the Zodiac killer, Cruz write up a long slightly insane op-ed lavishing praise on someone who said his wife was repellent
Or it was a lone sniper.
Quick, someone get the Ouija board!
I mean Alex Jones has seriously good sources and puts a shitton of time into really finding facts. That being said the man is absolutely wild and has a horrible habit if letting his tounge work before his brain, and he makes it super easy to look at him as a psycho because of it.
JFK shit is obviously way more than what we know, what the real story is I can only imagine but it's gonna be a shocker when it all comes out for sure
Conspiracy: Trump would be assassinated too if he did not extend it.
Next president faces the same fate too btw
> MOB HITMEN
You DO realize Trump is widely speculated to have ties with the mob, right?
The point still stands, if you want to speculate mob involvement, and Trump has rumored dealings with the mob (Russian AND domestic), how far back does that particular part of the Trump legacy go? He inherited the "family business" after all.
if it was alphabet agents then Trump would want it released ASAP. he's been trying to smear the intelligence community since he fired Comey. proving they actually assassinated a sitting president would do untold damage to their investigations of him.
more likely it's just something incredibly boring which would turn off his conspiracy theorist supporters
This is the problem with these theories, they all seem to stem from the idea that just because he was popular, nobody would ever shoot him.
At worst, the CIA had Oswald shot to cover up their incompetence when protecting the president, at worst. THere wasn't a vast government wide conspiracy to murder a sitting president because le evil US banks want their money and nobody has ever actually leaked this in 50 years and all of the people who have seen these documents have just happened to never blow a whistle.
It's on 9/11 conspiracy levels of stretching.
This is literally 9/11-was-an-inside-job levels of absurd contrivance. Read up on Oswald, an unstable guy who defected to the Soviet Union, came back, and tried (and failed) to assassinate another government official. The idea that 'nobody would shoot Kennedy because he was so popular' is just ridiculous.
There is no need for a conspiracy to explain the events. Why is the idea that it was actually an assassination pulled off by a single disgruntled ex-Marine so unbelievable? Because it's 'naive' to accept the explanation that best fits the facts? What does that even mean?
Was Lincoln an inside job too? Pretty suspicious that the assassin was shot and killed before he could face trial, if you ask me!
Also those three men who got detained outside of the book depository, one of whom looks like Woody Harrelson's mob hitman dad (who Woody said worked with the CIA) and the other two resembling two CIA agents, one of whom was involved in the Warren Commission and plotted the Watergate break-in?

in my opinion left to right: Frank Sturgis, Charles Harrelson, E. Howard Hunt
Because that's not fun or cool to read about or theorize.
No one reads boring history. And it's always nice to say "well my conspiracy theory makes the most sense".
I feel as if anyone coming up with these elaborate theories on who killed Kennedy have never actually read the biography of Oswald, especially the last few years leading up to him shooting the president.
also the whole shitcanning of Operation Northwoods by Kennedy probably played a large part
This is literally crisis actors level of dumb
Oh my God are you actually a 9/11 conspiracy theorist too
The idea that the president is popular so it doesn't make sense for a lone gunman to kill him, but it does make sense for a group of people to conspire against him and murder each other to hide the evidence. One of these seems slightly more plausible to me than the other.
It's much more likely that Oswald killed JFK of his own volition and Jack Ruby killed Oswald as a form of revenge for killing one of the most popular and publicly loved presidents in America's history.
Nah it was the fucking Russians. Oswald was a known Communist
Oswald was also disillusioned with the Soviet system after spending several years there and voluntarily emigrated back to the US.
He was not in any sort of mindset to be acting on behalf of either shadowy government cabals or the Soviets. He didn't like the US, and he didn't like the Soviet Union either. Entirely of his own volition, he tried (and failed) to assassinate a former US military officer who he regarded as a fascist, then took it upon himself to support a socialist organization even after they told him 'no, stop, you're making us look bad'. He was practically the epitome of a lone wolf.
EmperorScorpious hit the nail on the head; conspiracy theories about the JFK assassination always read like they're coming from people who have done the barest minimum of research. It takes no stretch of the imagination whatsoever to believe that he was acting entirely on his own.
If nothing else, the documents that were declassified last year actually exonerates the Russians in JFK's death.
It showed the Soviets were worried that some sort of coup had taken place, and that the military generals might be taking control. They also had no interest in Oswald until after the assassination.
You can read the whole thing here: https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/docid-32204484.pdf
Doesn’t help that there are people like Oliver Stone who stif the pot.
We'll probably never know for sure if it was a conspiracy or not but you're right.
"Grand conspiracy" by definition is an oxymoron because conspiracies only work when very few people are in on it.
So if the JFK assassination was a conspiracy it was an effective one as I'm sure we'll see in the declassified documents something akin to "the FBI's investigation strongly suggest it the assassination was organized but couldn't find the evidence required to charge anyone."
Yeah, the fact that nukes of all things couldn't be kept a secret just proves that no matter how badly you want to keep something hidden, if the scope is too big it's gonna leak out.
I thought Facepunchers would be the last people to reject the fact that crazy man lee oswald shot kennedy in favor of whatever conspiracy was making the rounds on the current day
