Hi, nice blog!
Are you using any plugin for the networking?
Thanks,
He mentioned in the past he's using Photon networking.
Really cool endeavor. Co-op is a highly under served space and I'm interested to see where this goes.
Yeah, PUN. Working pretty good so far.
Any chance of adding some more graphics options for those of us running this game on a complete piece of shit?
Definitely - what kind of performance are you getting?
I'm currently running Tub on a CyberPowerPC laptop, its graphic card is a GTX 960M ( which when I bought it garuntee'd me I'd at least be able to run Battlefield 4 at decent settings ) and I basically have a standard range / half decent i7 which clocks in at 4ghz. I also have 8gb of ram and my graphics drivers are fully updated my knowledge.
I did want to quickly add I'm getting the same kind of performance in Rust too, even if I set my graphics options to the lowest they can possibly go in that game. For Tub I basically have a good two minutes of performance where my FPS will be around the 30 to 45 range. Afterwards, my FPS will drop to 2 frames per second, almost like its trying to load something in the background. I notice that my GPU spikes to 80% in moments like these on Task Manager. If I play something like Snots I find that these performance drops are more frequent.
I also get bad performance on the 'Meat' level all the way up to the shader you are using for the effect on your windows. After I get past that point, my performance improves for some reason (?).
If there is any sort of software or extension I can download, or something I can active in game to show you graphs. I don't mind recording some of my performance for you in the hopes of improving your optimization efforts. Hope this helps!
Get some temperature graphs would ya? Laptops have a nasty tendency to run the damn chips close to meltdown temps which could be causing your cpu/gpu to thermal throttle to hell and back.
I think that is mostly likely the issue other than the game. In all fairness. I have taken this laptop to Asia in back. For all I know, there could be some sort of insect which has found its grave on my hardware. I'm too scared to open it up though haha.
Instead of blocking spawning, slimes killed by turrets should not drop treasure.
The reason for placing turrets should be to prevent the slime from spreading and keep paths clear rather than treasure farming.
Maybe consider 75% damage to be a kill, just so people don't wait around and last hit.
speedruns are most fun for me cant wait for more levels
