That's a more forward and more regimented shooting posture. I went for what looked more dramatic and more "eighties like" to me. When I think of mid-eighties schlock slasher-action like this I think of mustachioed assholes wielding shitty MP5 chopmods and semi-auto uzis converted back to full-auto. That kinda thing, so I went with what felt more like that, to me.

I figured since he was coming in a door in a CQB scenario it made more sense to have a tighter grip.
