now that we got boats and diving equipement in the game it would be nice to have a new dungeon outside of rust island far away from the coast. an old but maybe not abondend oil rig that is being used by the scientists and constantly being patroled by armed scientists on boats. the player has the option to either sneak inside the oil rig by diving beneath the patrols or if you got some friends you could just drive with a boat and shoot all of the scientists.
I agree that now we have boats, we should also have some kind of "dungeons" out on the sea.
Adding an oil platform with some scientists patrolling it would be a cool idea, but adding scientists to defend the oil rig from boast, might be to go a bit to far.
A downside could be that it might be to easy to "camp" the oil rig. Imagine you get some boxes as well as some green crates from looting it, many clans will go there and just stay and protect the rig and shoot everyone who comes.
How to fix this could be to place the oil platform in the snowy biome, and also adding a lot of cold to the rig, so people cant stay there for a long time because they will freeze to death. Another example would be to add some radiation to the oil platform, (same as on top of launch-site) so even if you wear a hazmat you still get some radiation over time.
we definitely need something added in the ocean, because there really isn't much to do with boats or swimming gear they are adding. Don't get me wrong, boats are awesome and it's fun to go around with them and pvp, but when they add that swimming gear there is no use for it at the moment.
I think it would be cool to have crazy MAD Scientists that build their own base and run around trying to attack yours.
I thought it might be cool if this dungeon was designed to contain more loot then you could carry in one player inventory so it would make a lot of sense to use the boat, but at the same time you could just leave the area through an flooded part of the dungeon as long as you got your diving gear. That way you could choose the reward and the risk (yes risk could mean getting camped by a clan)
