After playing fortnite for a bit, and then going back to rust the weird falldamage is really noticeable. Im not really sure how to explain it, but the difference between falling a short distance and a long distance is not different enough, for example you fall '1m' and it does 30 damage and then you fall '5m' and it does 60, it isnt really consistent and is not predictable. As I said its not easy to explain, if anyone has any information regarding a fall damage system or how it works, please comment it.
On a side note I dont think you should be able to be 'wounded' when falling massive distances, people can exploit this if they are in anything but a solo. An example of this is someone who has a cave base is being chased in the cave, they jump down the lift shoot and are wounded, their teammate comes and helps them up.
Anyways if you guys have any opinions on the fall damage please share them with me in the comments!
If I fall off a cliff i die, if i fall of a rock I sprain my ankle. The in game damage is pretty good, albeit annoying sometimes.
