have you seen a character in SFM that you'd like to use in gmod, but don't know the stuff needed to port them and give them physics? i'm willing to help free of charge, as long as the three following conditions meet said model 1: its a biped. meaning humanoid, no ponies or animals yet, as i'm not yet ready to offer my services in that regard, i still need to learn more. (also means NO tails) 2: its a public model that the original author has given you permission to upload to gmod, if i find out that someone has come to me and asked me to port something from SFM to gmod that the original author has already said they DON'T want ported to gmod, for whatever reason, then i will stop offering my services (like the xeno blade chronicles 2 characters someones already told me they themselves dont want ported to gmod. i have ported them, but they will NOT be released as he said he does NOT want them to. he will release them for gmod himself at a later date) 3: if the SFM model has finger posing and face posing, it'll carry over to the gmod port (in my experience anyway), if the model does NOT have face posing or finger posing, then it will not be added (unless i feel like going through the additional trouble, which most likely i wont) finally, it will either be emailed directly to you, as for some reason i cant figure out how to upload to the gmod workshop, BUT i am perfectly fine with YOU, the person who requested it, uploading it to the gmod workshop yourself. if you don't want it emailed, then i guess i'll just upload it on my deviant art account along with other things i've already ported ---- https://myroflknife117.deviantart.com/gallery/64606764/Releases remember, you don't need to come to me for help if you wanna do it yourself or if you're not happy with the quality of how i do things, this is just for those who's shoes i have been in before - who wanted a model, but have no idea how to do it yourself i'm in the ring, but still learning the ropes, so if it dosen't meet your standard, or if i cant port it because of whatever reason, i apologize

a thousand, thousand pardons, but in my porting work, i made a slight miss-calculation, most of the body is working as intended, but the limbs wont bend as they are meant to. and i got the materials mixe up for the eyes and teeth. to make up for this delay in time, i will port all the humanoids from the singularity pack as one (hopfully will fix the eyes and teeth too) pic below demonstrating, legs and arms remain stiff, while the body can be bent, unlike the overwatch character who's limbs work fine. sorry again, will the singularity boyz up soon https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/912419877375310999/078327ED2F01DA3785A21A9ED18C241F5DE6DD26/

If you are still doing this, you have my permission to port some of my models into Gmod. My focus on SFM and college has put me off in doing it myself, and I kind of got tired of having 50+ people asking to port them to Gmod. Steam Community

Thank you midgerm for decompling them and putting them into a nice pack, so I noticed its still on the SFM skeleton (bip) and such, anyway you could help me rig the female model onto a ValveBiped to make it into a female playermodel? I have been trying to rig a SFM model to be a Garry's mod playermodel for a while but never get it right.
i can attempt to set it to a valve biped for you, but playermodels are beyond me, that'll have to be up to you
I know how to compile a QC and make a valve biped into a playermodel, I just don't know how to correctly turn the SFM's bones to a valvebiped. if you could give it a try that would be awesome
i can try to give vehicles a physics mesh, but posable parts like wheels would have to be done with the bone tool

Not sure if this counts as a biped (it's humanoid but has non-human legs, hand, and head/neck), but do you think you could port this? It's the Arbiter/Kaidon (aka Thel 'Vadam) from Halo 5 (well, technically the model itself is from Killer Instinct), which also comes with the Halo 2 Anniversary Elite, and the Halo 2 Anniversary Arbiter. Part 1 has just Kaidon/Halo 5 and H2A Thel, and Part 2 has the H2A Elites. I think the person who put them on the Workshop (Majora/NotMajora) is fine with them being ported to gmod since in the description of both, it's stated "If anyone tries to port these to other Source games (such as Gmod or L4D2) at least give credit for the work done by everyone, and make sure to link back to the original port."
