https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/apr/29/amber-rudd-letter-to-pm-reveals-ambitious-but-deliverable-removals-target Rudd denied knowing about this, now it turns out she wrote a letter about it. Put her on max-level resignation watch
denies a piece of writing she herself wrote and signed at least have the balls to accept you wrote it instead of trying to claim in vain that you haven't even known about it
this absolute clusterfuck of a situation makes me even more baffled as to why anyone votes tory in this day and age
BREXIT TILL I DIE or Comrade Corbyn wants to steal your house and give it to drug addicts and also he hates jews? or Tories are rich so they must be good at economics or The Sun told me they'd get rid of all the benefits scroungers and brown people
Yeah, I mean her reprimand to her staff was pure transparent blame-shifting. It was obvious that the Home Office staff were only doing what she and her predecessor, Maybot, had ordered as official policy. It was a disgusting attempt at ass-covering, throwing staff just following her direction under the bus for doing what they were told.
Aaaaaaaaaand she's gone http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43944988
Another horcrux down.
STRONG AND STABLE
yeah fuck off you fucking witch mays fucking next, would like to see this go to the fuckin top as may is just as much a part of this as rudd was
The level of outrage and political damage that the Windrush scandal has caused is kind of reassuring about the state of British political culture. If the whole thing had come out and people had just tutted and moved on, it would have shown us to be in a pretty bad place.
100% Agree. Compare this to the current American administration. Sure she did some good work, but good riddance really. Deportation targets are dark, though are only fueled by the voters really.
FUCK IMMIGRANTS cry the British public But not these ones
Vocal Minority, thankfully. Seems most of the country still give a shit about human rights (and their blatant violations)
I've honestly given up trying to gauge the moral compass of this country, it seems to be random. This was a rare case of everyone seeming to agree it was shitty regardless of your political leaning.
I wonder if this will effect local elections next week, hoping people realise that the Tories aren't good people for the most part
