AFAIK no one is accusing Labour of anything. Their response should be to call for a full investigation of any Russian interference in UK politics, wherever it's occurring. Not this:
“If I remember rightly, the Russian embassy was putting out supportive noises towards the Tory party. If there’s an issue here about anything on Russian influence within our society, it’s about Russian oligarchs funding the Tory party. Let’s have an inquiry into that.”

Russia has deeper ties with the Tories but that's still idiotic to say given the context.

tbh Russia have nothing to lose whether they support which sides. No matter who wins, the opposition + their supporters can just shout at the winner for Russian interference while Putin laugh at this whole ordeal like a sitcom.
Russia is willing to back any horse as long as it brings discord, so I'm not bothered that they've tried to help Labour. What bothers me is this tweet.
