Pay money and miss watching the sorry fuck suffer? No deal.
I'd pay to see him getting choked to death
Harry Potter has a long lineage of awful video games. The last one was made by EA, was designed to be a super gritty third person shooter with a call of duty style multiplayer aspect. It did so terribly thay EA swore off ever doing movie games ever again.
I can't believe they put erotic asphyxia in my Harry Potter game
A mobile game with a popular name pasted on it sucks ass? How surprising
i not even really into harry potter but i'd super buy a decent rpg of it
run around hogwarts and hang with friends like persona or something (sans the anime obviously)
The game is a mess and a disgusting cash grab. If you plan on playing it, just cheat the energy because the devil's snare is nothing compared to some of the classes where you will need to refill your energy 3~5 times. Immediately after doing one of the story quests that has a 3hr wait time(or 55 gem fee to play now), you run into another timer that's 1hr long(30 gem fee to play now) just to do the quest right after it.
All, the fan favorite Transactium Extortiolus spell.
They could've just recycled Pottermore into a mobile game/app instead.
I don't think I've seen a single person that actually likes this shitty cash grab.
Did you know Harry Potter died from Erotic Asphyxiation?
A girl I have a crush on, really likes its
I got the entire concept going through my head, I think it can work. Something like a weird mix between Skyrim, Bully, and Smashball. Ideally it should adapt all the movies, maybe releasing each as it's own episode if it's ambitious enough (don't even ask me about pricing on this).
Is Harry Potter the new Sonic or something
Yes and No?
New?
The Gamebody Color version of the first book/movie is half competent.
I played the beta for this game and man, Fuck that devil snare.
As the article says you literally run out of energy and you're forced to spend crystals to get energy to progress, I decided to wait for my energy to recharge instead of spending coins to which i came back to a mission failure.
I thought i did something wrong so i did it again only for it to happen again, After seeing that shit i gave up immediately after.
This is a pretty good analogy for horrible monetization schemes in general. Companies literally strangling money out of you.
Pretty much every game with microtransactions is garbage imo
awful games? hell no dude. the RPGs were fucking awesome at least

I mean it's a mobile game after all.
From what I've been told by my sister the gameplay is identical to shit like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
Why of course mobile games are recycling their gameplay assets with new art to cash in on a whole other market. Despite having an Android phone since the HTC Magic was released (second Android device ever released to market), I've only ever installed like maybe six (good) games, because the entire ecosystem has been cancer since the very start.
mobile gaming was a mistake
Isn't having it that you recharge just slowly enough that you can fail if you aren't watching the timer count down a violation of the thing where a free to play has to be actually completable for free? I get that the the article references the UK/European version where that might not be the case but it's still a shit system.
Harry Potter 2 for Gamecube was a dope almost open world Harry Potter game
Ah yes, struggling against devil's snare, the thing that everyone who has read the first book or watched the first movie knows is exactly how you get out of that situation.
I was just talking to my gf about this game the other day, because she talked me into downloading it. One of the central conflicts in it is a bully that fucks with you right out of the gate. I asked my gf "why I can't be the bully?" and I realized that I'm the reason why a good Hogwarts-themed MMO hasn't been made. JK Rowling would never allow a HP game where you can be an evil prick, no matter how much fun a game like that would be.
