I've yet to see anyone say what he actually did though? So far Moon has been praising Trumps efforts but without exemplifying what he did?

I think I read another translation of the quote which meant more like "I don't care about a nobel peace prize; let Trump have it. I just want the peace part"

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Conditions to repeat those events: (1) NK meets with SK as the two leaders cross international borders. (2) There's some sort of summit where an agreement is made. (3) A peace prize is awarded to the non-NK side of the table. (4) The agreement breaks down and NK resumes doing what it was doing before. (5) It comes to light that NK only agreed in the first place because SK sent it large amounts of cash/materials.

Is it me or have world leaders realized that they can easily curry favor with Trump by stroking his ego?

Not only that, but that their relationship depends on stroking his ego - even if it means giving him credit for things he doesn't deserve credit for.

Obama didn't deserve it, but to say trump does more is idiotic. Him and his croneys are slashing any public projects they can get their hands on. And now hes reverting the protections obama put in place to prevent another 08 crash.

Call me a pessimist, but I don't think either Trump or Obama should get/have gotten the nobel peace prize. We can't just be handing these things out to every US president... My perspective tells me that this potential peace is both fragile and due to a multitude of unrelated factors, not Trump alone.

The Nobel Peace Prize has been a politicized joke for a long time.

Obama getting it was lame but under Trump we've killed a lot of civillians in Syria, more than the entirety of Obama's tenure combined.

So far a new country hasn't been destroyed while he's in office. But anyway they are both undeserving for sure.

While Obama did more for world peace than Trump has so far neither of them deserve it. No one waging war in several countries across two continents should be nominated for a peace prize

I'm pretty sure the Nobel Peace Price for Obama was a feel good thing for being the first black American president instead of actually putting effort into maintaining world peace.

I dunno if you've missed what he's doing to the US but it's certainly not for a lack of effort on his part.

You already see trump is straining international alliances, breaking agreements with little care about our reputation, lying constantly to foreign nations, avoiding sanctions against Russia for interfering with not only our election but other allied nations too, ignored the fact that an allied nation's people were poisoned by a nerve agent, pushing for war in Syria that will lead to exactly another forceful regime change, attacking free speech, attacking freedom of the press, attacking rights of minorities, the list goes on and on and on and on. All these things affect stability in an economical and societal way. Also like said above, trump's airstrikes have been more frequent and killed more civilians than obama's entire tenure. If you really, really want to point fingers towards chaos, obama looks like a saint compared to the clown in office right now.

I really doubt a team of people in Norway gave Obama the Nobel Prize because of his race.
