Ridiculous, if the local govt and tourism in venice is exploding, limit the entries for tourists, not set up a turnstile

Tourism is cancer for the local life. I used to live in heaven on Earth, full of trees and 3 km of beaches right in front of my house and now I can't even find a place to leave a towel and go for a swim in front of my own house in summer. There are now several times more houses than local people in my town. The place used to be all green just ten years ago with many olive trees and pine trees, people used to have large gardens with flowers. Now trees were cut to make even more apartment houses, and gardens are destroyed to make parking places.

I wish I could leave and never come back. The town is completely destroyed. It is not a place to live anymore, just a soulless apartment village.
