I've been playing on official servers all wipe long every month for almost a year and I can tell you that 90% of people that I know want BP wipes at least every 2nd month.
And here are the reasons why:
People that played the previous wipe have a HUGE advantage from the first day and can often be very dominant
Less people play rust when BPs dont get wiped ( check the player numbers if you dont believe me)
If you have all the BPs you have nothing left to do except grind sulfur and raid. This gets boring quickly and many players dont play on a non BP wipe ( I usually play in a trio and we sometimes have a full chest of aks by week 2)
Getting a good item is not as exciting if you already know how to make it
This would have to be the third repetition of the same subject with the same arguments that still dont make much sense,
Players that are on the server longer than you always have some kind of advantage, either in gameplay or experience, .or more weapons and loot
If you get bored go to a new server where you will have nothing ,
who gets excited by making an item that they have made a hundred times before ?
We dont need bp wipe. I dont even need the server wipe. MY dream is the wipeless Rust!! Someday it will be true!!

I thought that was some of the reasoning behind the upkeep...to eventually have self sustaining servers that dont clog up over time. No?
it is on the road map for rust, but not all the players will get the privilege to play on the wipeless server
They totally fucked up the name of ''Wipeless rust'' I get the confusion, but what it actually says is that people who played longer times on a server will get a small advantage against players who just joined a server. I have no idea if its about blueprints or percentages for chopping wood. A better name should be a permanent reward. And if you have read a little bit mroe down it says everytime its wipe its feels like a fresh wipe.
If you are talking about the description of a "wipeless rust" on the road map, it does not say every time it wipes it feels like a fresh wipe.
From the description they are planing on a sort of "prestige" system whereby you give up your base and BPs for a permanent reward that gives you an advantage and you start over. What you said makes no sense.

i was looking for bp wipe.. and i speak to like 10 peope so far everybody is disapointed that no bp wipe... so no need to speak bullshit that people dont want to bp wipe. this is crap. why you do bp system at all?? leave old system and thats it...
There is no more beginning challange.
No more bows, no more crossbows, no more revolvers or pipes.
Only farming sulfur, crafting researched AKs and C4s.
I bought game several years ago and now I have only 30-40% of gameplay that I had before.

one more reaspn we need bp wipe each 1-2 months - Cheaters need more time to learn everything to ruin the game to normies. Each first wipe is like a blessing for us. Please wipe bp's!
