https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YimtQv7_Qw0 A shame, I played the game briefly and didn't like how the gameplay felt. Buuut, I did tell myself that I would probably try it later because I felt like it had a lot of potential and may get much better later.
This still hurts me. Uncle Sven was too pure to be lost like this.
I loved this game, still really sore about all this.
I loved this game, had to quit playing just because of the shit matchmaking.
Gigantic had some real style but the matchmaking was ass. I felt like the objective based gameplay loop put people off.
I think it also had too small player counts too They probably could make the combat more meaty and quick, but that probably wouldn't work with 5 people relative to the map size. I'm also just tired of games settling on small teams
I really enjoyed the game and it is evident from playing it how much love and soul they poured into it, but from announce to release was too long. Other games swept the rug out from under them before their feet even hit the floor.
A shame too since (I believe) it was announced before the big hero shooter boom caused by Overwatch. Had it not gone through dev hell, it may have stood a chance for being an early contender in the genre.
I completely forgot about this game, I'm sure that played a bit of a role too with people not knowing it even came out.
