Is there really anyone out there who didn't see this coming?
Besides maybe Fox News, of course
CNN isn't an allowed source
The source is the Doctor - he just told it to CNN.
Both of the doctors who have done a medical of Trump have turned out to be nutters
yeah on oldpunch. we don't have any new rules set up here. people can just use their judgement for now i guess.
Oh really? Sorry then, I didn't realize that rule had changed.
Holy fuck dude
I mean it was clearly worded really badly but damn
How far does it go? Could they be hiding something like dementia symptoms too? I denied that being a possibility before, but now I'm kind of reflecting on that
gee, and I thought 1 lb under obesity was perfectly healthy for a 72 year old man who believes exercise would literally kill him
With his health, one pushup would kill him, lets be honest, he isnt wrong
Hmmmmm.

So before, he was saying it was a retarded jumble because he wrote it in five minutes while Trump waited in a car outside.
And now, over two years later, he says
"He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter," Bornstein told CNN on Tuesday. "I just made it up as I went along."
Fake reality TV star turns out to have fake reality as well.
The funny thing is, if he just had a medical document that said "yeah he's out of shape, blood pressure's a bit low, he could eat more vitamin C" then nobody would have really given a shit. We've had presidents who were a LOT worse off health-wise than Trump. Why bother lying about something so trivial? You're turning something that nobody would really care about into a much bigger issue than it ever needed to be.
This is Trump. The most trivial things set this guy off hard, especially if it's in anyway challenging his 'godliness'.
tbf I haven't seen anybody use really trash sources much, maybe a few huffington posts. I was getting tired of people just posting media bias fact check all of the time anyway, people need to learn to judge individual articles and recognize what the unverified claims are vs stuff that's sourced from public knowledge. Like if an article is just ripping a press release directly without any commentary who cares.
The claims against Jackson were unsubstantiated according to the Secret Service and a "white house official"
Official Says Investigation Doesn't Support Allegations Against ..
And then documented claims of inappropriate professional behaviour turned up, and John Kelly was apparently aware.
I wouldn't say that means he's a "nutter", to be fair, but he did state that Trump might live to 200 if he had a better diet, and he gave Trump's height and weight to be just under the official definition of Obese. If Bornstein is telling the truth here about Trump dictating his report, it's pretty clear who put Jackson up to spinning that obvious tall tale of an assessment.
Aside from the fact that Trump won't accept any reality in which he's less than the perfect human specimen and God's gift to womankind, I'm sure he felt that if his encroaching dementia became known it'd hurt his chances for the office.
This is the guy who had people lie about his crowd size at his inauguration.
"They call it this, have you heard this, you wouldn't believe the things they come up with sometimes - they say to me 'oh, oh, it's Dementia, Donald, it's a mental illness', they tell me. And look I say to them, and I say this to everyone because it's true, I said 'look, I have a great brain', that's what I told them, I said 'I have the greatest brain... and', they look at me, they don't get how great my brain is, the thoughts I have are amazing, just amazing, so I say 'you're telling me I have dementia, well that just means I have so much stuff and knowledge in my head' right, that's what I tell 'em. I go "so much knolwedge in my head - that my normal human brain... can't keep up!". It's true. They look at me, they look, they have no idea. I have the best grain - too good, it's too good, my brain. Too much knowledge, normal human brain. 'I'm too smart' I told them. The smartest."
Also could you imagine if obama or clinton lied about their health and sent a bodyguard to retrieve any records that your doctor had

When the letter came out, everyone immediately said it was written by Trump just based on the line that claimed he was the healthiest president ever. That was such a Trumpism and utterly unprofessional for a doctor to say that it was practically impossible that Trump didn't wrote the note himself.
...remember when people criticized that as being just "jumping on the antitrump bandwagon"?
Watch them still criticize it now.
You really think Trump would do that? Just run for election and tell lies?
You forgot that he has "extraordinary strength & stamina" and that he "could live to be 200 years old." I unironically cannot stop laughing imagining him writing that
