1:40 "Battale" of Asakai. Typo aside, Asakai was fun. I went through some guy's sped-up footage from Asakai afterwards and managed to find myself spamming in local.
"a universe was born" the big QQ
As someone who has been playing eve nearly half of their life (early 20s) I can tell you there really is nothing out there that compares to eve, tot its gameplay, not the design but the other people you play with are what matters. I've been just about everywhere and nearly done everything in eve, but its taken me nearly 10 years to only just get started with industrial production to fund myself for a change. The community and politics is what makes the game so great, don't let people put you off playing the game just because you haven't also been there for all those years. If you try out eve you have got to get stuck in and find a group that suits you, eventually you will change groups or move to different groups with your friends or straight up betray them for a cheap kill and small change; but its the option to do what ever the hell you want that really makes it. I still keep in contact with people that I first met in eve, we have flown with each other and against each other due to politics, wars and sometimes a bit of smack talking. One day you may just find yourself like me, sitting in an Avatar Titan that is insured by your alliance and replaced if dies in some of the largest record breaking fights to ever happen in a video game, or shit talking some poor bastard after he takes your bait and gets obliterated by a titan landing on him and using a area of effect doomsday. A few nights ago we were out using a fleet of 120 stealth bombers to destroy some Capital mining ships called rorquals, expensive as hell but make some serious money. (I own a few for that reason.) After killing three of them and their rescue fleets an alliance wide "ping" is sent out, log in your titans its party time. While busy running three accounts on the other side of universe at the same time, we are busy deploying one of eve's largest titan fleets and fragging fools left right and center on the otherside of the universe. Anything can happen. Just promise one thing, don't be a carebear and stay in high security space, protected by Concord Police all your life. (You are not protected anywhere in eve, even in high security space.) You will very quickly get bored and quit a fantastic game if you do not engage with other players and the community. I'm apart of "Northern Coalition.", for anyone who wanted some context.
I used to play eve but I was never able to get deep into it. I just don't have enough time, it's like another job haha. One of the best games to read about though. I swear you could write a book about the actual exploits that occur in eve
