It seems more and more certain users are getting to the point where its almost spamming SH with tiny random news articles.
I'm all for more news but when the OPs don't bother reading the article themselves, interacting with their thread, not putting effort to get the title right or even extracting interesting quotes/lines from the article it gets tiresome.
There's even been threads where the article has been pay-walled so it's literally just the title of the article people can read.
Can we either enforce a thread limit per user in a day or lay down some minimum standard rules for SH in the future?
People have brought this up before and I still think it's not enforceable, or worth bothering with. as long as its news idgaf who posts it, and trying to force a limit on how much people can post will just result in people getting their friends to post shit for them instead. I also don't see why we should care if the OP doesn't interact with the thread. They're just sharing news after all.
Really the only people I think should have a thread creation limit are brand new users, because these korean spambots that post spam threads 5+ times need to fuck right off.
