Are server forced wipes is still every month first Thursdays? And will we be receiving update today? It should be announced when they occur, because i would like to join a server and build a base now, but if it wipes in the evening... well you get my struggle.

so they wiped but where is the actual update is my question? i was hearing rumors of a friday update day which would make little to zero sense. if you know can you let me know?
IT ALWAYS happens the first Friday of the month (Aus) as it takes place on Thursday afternoon in America, whether it makes any sense at all doesnt matter thats when it takes place, it gives us the whole weekend to get sorted out and used to any major changes, This has been the practice for several years and should be no surprise to anyone who reads the devblogs. Sometimes its just an update and sometimes a server wipe and a BP wipe, its all listed in the devblog on the day of the update
