Trees and grass turning black AMD issue we are not alone, but it doaesnt depend on the RAM oder CPU i think its a amd issue maybe ?
I have a radeon hd 6450 (shit card but i can load up Rust in about 1 hour and 30 minutes) and for me the grass is fine.
I have the same issue; i'm running a Rx 580. I'm pretty sure this is some sort of conflicting issue with Nvidia GameWorks. It'll randomly turn grass black, rocks, and some trees.
At least it works, i have r9 290x (ubuntu 18.04) and nothing works. It crashes after a few minutes.
I have even tried other graphics cards... nothing. I swapped drives (ubuntu 17.10) and everything works fine, but if your running 18.04 anything... your not playing rust. Whats funny is all my other games work fine. Actually i'm getting 5fps more in some of them oddly even though its the same graphics driver.
install gentoo
ubuntu (kubuntu,mate, etc) 17.10 all work just find for rust, but 18.04 just doesn't.
I have tried a few different setups.
Ryzen 2700 R9 290
Ryzen 2700 1080
I7 7700k R9 290
I7 7700k 1080
I7 2600 R9 290
I7 2600 1080
None of these have worked, but they all work for 17.10s.
Debian (latest) works fine with any of the setups as well.
I have tested a bunch of other games thinking it might be related to a graphics drivers, but I have no other problems in any other games. Just rust since the update on the 3rd.
i have an other pc where it works fine its amd fx6300 r9 380x! did any of u guys try diffrent drivers for amd?
I STARTED IT ON WINDOW MODE AND IT WORKS!
