Any competition to Cuomo is good. He doesn't really care about the concerns of the upstate areas of NY. He's extremely pandering and biased to NYC and really doesnt give a shit about the north

I live in upstate NY and he has definitely tried more than past governers to help upstate. At least in my area, voting for someone with no experience makes me uneasy.

I dunno, Cuomo made it easy for me to go back to college and he's apparently looking at legalizing weed. Plus his clean energy initiatives and fighting for Net Neutrality. He's not perfect, but he's far from some stodgy old Neolib, as far as I know.

Honestly, for all the shit Cuomo has done to his father's legacy, I hope he sinks. I really do not care for the man for a variety of reasons, but the fact he is effectively a lapcat for NYC's shit, does not really make me like him. I could list hundreds of reasons for why I don't like him, but just a few: He refuses to deal with toxic waste sites in WNY, namely the West Valley nuclear waste problem. He stalled the implementation of methods to block asian carp/snakehead from entering Lake Erie, and thus lead too a decimation of trout in certain watersheds. Refuses too give funding to Central Station's renovation in Buffalo. IIRC, he fucked over some bridge projects in Rochester. He illegally passed the SAFE Act, and his group of cronies refuse to open legislative discussion, even though all the countries in not-NYC have voted for it. Seriously, compared to his father, this man is a fucking joke. He is not a boy of New York, he is a fucking lapcat for NYC.

Once again we're going to see every county not in NYC vote for a candidate and that candidate still lose because the city wants asshole I mean Cuomo. F U A C
