EU's Juncker urges Belgian citizenship for UK staff

This is a Brexit micro-story that I haven't heard about before.

TLDR there are over a thousand Britons who live and work for the EU in Brussels - not for the UK delegation, but actually for the EU itself. When Brexit happens they'll lose EU citizenship, which means they're not allowed to work for the EU anymore and might have to leave the country. Juncker has called on Belgium to grant them citizenship so they can stay.

I feel like this should be an option for more people who have moved their livelihoods from the UK to the EU.
