I wonder when we'll get better ranges for budget electric cars. As soon as we have generous 300+ mi ranges for a sub-$20k electric car, I feel far more people will be adopting them.

While I agree with most of what Dougy Boi says - a fine car but let down by its range anxiety and price - I don’t mean to nitpick but I hate how Doug rates some aspects of cars. Eg that i3 does the 0-60mph sprint in the ‘high six seconds’ and yet he only gives acceleration a 2/10. Anything faster than 7.5 seconds is a reasonably fast car. Not that it matters too much though, because 0-60mph time is such a childish and misleading metric.
