Really wish people did this more often with protesting artwork. Visually show what the monsters these people truly are.
At the same time, a shame, that demon looked cool af
Can't help but feel worried that the people behind this are going to end up suddenly disappearing.
It looked even cooler on fire IMO
Perhaps they developed their opinions.
It's good to see people are willing to protest here, but I'm still saddened by the fact these kind of protests and the anti-Duterte crowd is just a tiny tiny fraction still compared to the rest of the country. It's worse that most pro-Duterte people would just keep coming around the same argument too and there's almost no way to change their minds whether you approach them with politeness, evidence or not, like the lady near the end of the video.
It's always the same argument of 'our country needs this big change, I want my family to be safe because of the rampant crime and the drug users'. Like as if they're fully convinced all the crime just stemmed from the drugs, without even putting it together that the drugs and crime were just results of actual underlying issues like the massive wealth inequality, corrupt private companies and incompetent government facilities. It is scary to live and commute here on a day to day basis because the chances of getting mugged, stabbed, shot and stuff is fairly significant and it's usually not a good idea to commute alone, but killing 'drug users' and people carelessly isn't going to solve anything, and it's so frustrating there's not much room to convince people otherwise.
