• Wiped, but not the BPs. Why?

After a whole month of progressing, a fresh start is needed. Why keeping the blueprint? There is no reason for me continuing playing with everything learned. Sure I could start fresh on another server, but mostly everyone will have a lead on me...why keeping the BPs? There is no point because what's fun about the persistence system is to start over again and play your way through. Especially after a month...
Mate, they haven't wiped official BP's in, what, 4...5 months now? I haven't played on officials in that amount of time, too. What a surprise. Early game BP grind is great, it slows down progress so there's more low-tiered fighting. Without it, any sweaty group has AK's day one.
rustafied wipes bp's every 2 months
Devs are planning to make Rust wipeless, and no BP wipe is the first step, i guess...
This is true, however with the wipeless rust they plan to have a mechanic that will reset someones BPs and have them start fresh but give them a permanent reward, like the prestige system in COD. So even with wipeless rust there will be the feeling of a fresh wipe, more or less anyway.
