New update has severely lowered my fps? but friends with lower tier PCs are havi

So maybe like 4 days ago I was able to play rust on high at like 200 fps, but now after this update apparently its using 100% of my GPU (according to task manager) when im only sitting in the main menu, and things don't change in game.

My fps is literally unplayable only on this game now which stinks as I see all my buddys with lower tier PCs having no issues.

I'm writing this maybe to see if anyone else has a similar issue, and as well maybe get some solution other than having to buy a new GPU

I use a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 6 gb

all of my drivers are up to date

Bro u have virus, which use ur 960 for mining, try to clean ur PC. U can use Dr.Web Curelt (it's best and free)

GTX 960 6gb? is that even a thing?
Also i highly doubt a GTX 960 can run it on high at over 60 fps, let alone 200
Even on lowest settings i think it would only get around 150-180 fps

fixed it, when i moved my setup the other day i plugged my monitor into the wrong port lmao. I'm just stupid
