If anything, especially due to the fact that most of the local elections this year were in Labour strongholds, this just shows how much of a bad job Corbyn is doing. It's a shame, because it would be nice for Labour to get a majority again before I die.
Calling yourself 'TheRealNews' at this point in time doesn't explain anything about yourself, other than you're trying to convey that you only tell the real news, even though that's probably complete bullshit, nobody in the right mind who wants to tell the real news would feel the need to prove themselves in the name of their organisation, they'd just tell the fucking news.
I didn't get to vote in this, yet people in my town on the other side of a bridge less than 500 metres away did.
Fukken wierd magical district politics.
*achieves the best result in the capital that Labour has had since the seventies*
"Actually, if anything, this is bad"
ok lol

Yea, "They loss somehow"
Nevermind BCC shows they gain 77 new Councillor seats.
Basically this can be interpreted by some people as a Tory victory because they didn't get demolished by Labour like some people predicted.
And in a way I kind of agree, against this dumpster fire of a government they should be doing better. Although the Tories were helped by literally all the UKIP voters returning to them.
The thing is, you're ignoring the fact that successive Conservative governments is almost always going to help Labour, just like how the Democrats tend to do better in America when there's a Republican president. It's embarrassing how low Labour's aspirations appear to be.
I was playing football with my mate the other day and I scored 10 and he scored 6. Can't wait to tell that cunt we drew lmao
Ive never really been too fond of the idea that Labour is ~doomed~ because Jeremy Corbyn is personally tanking the party's popularity. Because honestly, he's not a bad guy.
Every week there's a new sensationalist story about him, how the Deranged lefty jeremy corbyn lunatic, bane of england, visited members of a regressive regime 5 years ago!
And you think, "fuck! i thought this guy was cool!? and yet here's a picture of him shaking hands with a dictator?!! could i have been wrong!"
And then 15 minutes of research shows he was there as one of 30 mps from all three of the biggest parties- and the story is complete bollocks.
Jeremy Corbyn- hater of britain, harbinger of £1 freddos, seen here snubbing remembrance day services to dance on the grave of a war veter- o wait no this is just a photo of Corbyn having a rather animated chat with a war vet on remembrance day, at the service it's claimed he didn't attend. A vet who has been cropped from the photo prior to publication. Imagine my shock.
So what's the alternative? have a leader so right wing that they might as well be a tory in the hopes the press will leave them alone? because i guarantee you will see the same level of character assassination and "lol but their leader's a joke/terrorist!" rhetoric levelled against any genuinely progressive politician who tires to lead the labour party. That's what happens when a vast majority of the press has a heavy right wing bias.

lol
Personally I think Corbyn is doing great in the face of absolutely absurd media assault. I swear some of the outright lies they've printed about him being a PROUD ANTI SEMITIC RUSSIAN SPY etc should be against some sort of media laws.
I also don't think he's a bad guy, but I am trying to be as pragmatic as possible. I agree with Corbyn on most stuff, but he's terrible at PR in my opinion.
exactly how i feel tbh.
Corbyn is "bad at pr" in the sense that he tends to express nuanced views on complex subjects instead of bleating out whatever platitudes would sound best at the time.
Sure, that might make him easier to attack, but there's a reason he's being attacked like this in the first place, and that's because Corbyn represents a genuine chance at real change in our politics, not just same shit different ass hole disenfranchisement.
Obviously there are plenty of powerful people who benefit from the sorry state things are in right now, and maintaining their cushy set up relies entirely on convincing the public not to try and change anything.
Haven't you noticed how the Tories field ridiculous out of touch morons like Boris Johnson and fuckin Jacob Mogg, and manage to avoid getting eviscerated in the media each week?.
I mean The Guardian rip into the Tories but they're basically the only print media outlet that isn't massively right wing.
