That was... like a film student's first attempt at a music video. It was, just, a video.
its certainly not a conventional music video but i think its off-beat direction is supposed to be intentionally off-putting
the song, the entertainment, is at the forefront but the story and the pain that drives the song pedals along in the background in a way that's somewhat detatched
Man, I wish Danny stuck with the same style as XXX. The whole first half of that album is straight up bangers. His new stuff has just been kind of all right.
I thought Atrocity Exhibition was great, take or leave Old though.
atrocity exhibition is easily his best project yet tbh. it's a great piece of experimental hip hop
Atrocity Exhibition and XXX are easily his best albums. Hybrid and Old had some great tracks, but overall they were just kinda okay.
I sort of disagree. I felt like it was really an emotionally driven record and his tone getting more and more chaotic throughout is an indication of Danny's thoughts. He's incredibly troubled and full of unsolved conflicts. He's no Lil Pump; he's not there for bangers although he is fully capable of it (Old was basically Danny's attempt at a party album).
Atrocity Exhibition was a masterpiece dude. It was one of just a handful of albums that came out in 2016 that floored me. It honestly felt like I was listening to the future.
