I'm sure the South is taking the peace process seriously and didn't pull any shenanigans and the North would be insanely cautious about inspecting the device before trusting it, but it'd be amazing if the SK soy agency used that USB drive to infect the North with malware.
This was one of my first thoughts too, I hope that they didn't try to pull anything like that, because it'd be very disruptive.
Airgapping won't even stop some malware. But I imagine NK handled the USB device like radioactive waste and plugged it into an isolated system for thorough testing before they inspected the actual documents.
Hold off on the nobel prizes. The last time SK tried the sunshine policy the president got a nobel prize but talks shortly broke down and the prize seemed premature. When North Korea is open for South Korean business and when North Koreans are allowed to leave their own country without being murdered, then we can talk about nobel prizes
I think its more a comment to trump party trying hard to get the prize themselves for taking moon's and china's credit.
I'd love to see what was on that USB Maybe one day we'll get to see it?
Kim Jong Un: What is the meaning of this purple monkey on my screen?!
I wonder what sort of USB drive they gave him. Perhaps something fancy, custom-built, rather than something they picked up at the electronics store round about closing time.
they probably made sure that you don't have to turn it around to plug in to avoid further tensions
I'm glad they planned a way to avoid nuclear war caused by USB superpositioning
Does NK even HAVE USB ports?
they have an entire OS that fingerprints all documents and media opened in it so they can track the source of dissidents source: me + IDA + a red star OS ISO
For sure. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110618/5e21f939-1e4e-4087-afa0-ca4766dc9160/image.png They renovated the inter-Korean summit venue for the occasion; They chose an oval table to close the distance between the sides, to create a friendlier atmosphere There is a painting of Mt.Geumgang in the back wall, the mountain symbolises Korean reconciliation and cooperation The table is custom made, made to look like two bridges coming together, with a width of 2018 millimeters through the center The chairs are engraved with the Korean peninsula All of the furniture is made from walnut, which is not prone to bending and warping over time Along with some other stuff that i've forgotten. So im sure the USB drive is no different.
Damn that's some ridiculous attention to detail. Hopefully no detail goes unnoticed, I'd hate to be the designer of that room and to have nobody notice it.
This joke is very underappreciated. Good show, karimatrix.
whats the significance of 5400? I think you meant the length was 1954 which was disputed in that article for being clearly untrue? Not sure
1954 5400 19(54) (54)00 fifty four
