Please have a feedback, I'm waiting since Thursday for a solution, EasyAntiCheat support logs back never. I want to play Rust, and I also have a server to administer. That costs me money.
I reloaded my machine to fix this problem today. Still have this issue
Heres a copy and paste from an answer i posted the other day, It got some ticks so im guessing it worked for them and i think you have the same issue, Have a try
Do the following steps,
Launch steam
Go to Library
Find Rust
Right click Rust>Properties>Local Files>Browse Local Files
Click on the folder EasyAntiCheat
Launch EasyAntiCheat Setup
Follow the steps
What happens is easyanticheat will uninstall, then launch the setup again to reinstall it select rust as the game and let it download after that you should be good to go. The reason this occurs is because in the update something went wrong maybe while you were downloading. If its still not fixed just reply
