Russia actually has been on record saying pulling out of the deal is idiotic, even china agrees. This is purely a trump/isreal move.

that's 100% of the reason. if the obama administration solved cancer and world hunger, trump would demand the labs destroyed and the fields salted. and the GOP would clap in a ~*hIgHlY cOnCeReD*~ manner the entire time.
I honestly think that's the entire reason. The Iran Deal was pretty much beneficial to everyone, and we weren't the only country that negotiated and agreed to it along with Iran, either. Iran agreed to it, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, and the EU agreed to it. We don't want Iran with nukes, so this deal ensures they don't get nukes, Iran was subject to surprise, unrestricted, inspections with no time to hide anything. Fucking christ, the 150 billion dollars is Iran's money to begin with anyway, and a lot of it is owed to other countries, like China.
It's a good deal IMO.

Russia's not exactly known for telling the truth though. The only part of the deal that benefits Russia is Iran not getting nukes. Russia's government only cares for its allies though in what they can do for Russia. Having those allies reliant on Russia and nobody else would be beneficial for Russia. So this is disappointing but not terribly surprising. Trump's a blatant Russian agent with a hateboner for anything with Obama's name attached.
Russia wan't the US to act contrarian, damaging it's international credibility and soft power.
I remember John Oliver doing a segment on this weeks ago. From what I've seen go on during this deal, Trump picked the absolutely fucked choice in backing out. We still have May 12th don't we? Think there's a chance to go back on this?
