Eh I'd say they're barely 90s. They came out in 1989 and 1991.
They're really early year wise but they fit with the style of 90s stoner comedies, so I refer to them as 90s stoner comedies
They do time travel surprisingly well in the first movie. The whole, "missing keys," resolution had me in fucking hysterics the first time around. It was fucking beautiful in both its genius and simplicity.
The question is will Keanu be clean shaven or not.

it's not even stoner comedy. it's just comedy. there's no drug useage in the movies. they're more just highschool comedy films. stoner comedy would be shit like Bio-Dome but that movie is also terrible.
