Straight up just copied it verbatim:

Crap, now Donny's going to remember that the Obamas were anti-bullying and decide to put out his own "Be Bullied" campaign.
Maybe Melania is doing this on purpose to piss off Trump by using something Obama related.
Have to give a mountain of a benefit of a doubt for that Hypothesis.
Sad!
This is the second time she has plagiarised the Obamas! Remember when she stole Michelle Obama's speech?
Gee who would've guessed she was literally useless.
"Bullying builds character!"
I honestly think she has no idea what she’s doing. She was thrust into this position as fast and as qualified as the big cheese was, just without the criminal maliciousness.
I know it's an old meme but I snicker at the thought of all those guards being there to make sure she runs away, Melania being withheld food on Sundays so that her master can feed her off the falconry glove.
I dunno, these all seem rather petty to me.
Are engineers pathetic because they use concepts built by others thousands of years ago? To be frank, every academic profession builds on the previous. If the pamphlet has it right, what's the issue here? Just because the previous government says sexual abuse is wrong, you don't have to disagree with it and redefine sexual assault.
This just seems rather petty to me. People are picking at straws for, literally, anything.
Because this isn't the first time she has copied things for verbatim
And? The amount of concepts I've applied in all my engineering courses in all my projects out-shadows this.
If it isn't wrong, why change it? This is not owned by the previous government. It's governmental property. She has every right to reuse it.
She claims it as her own, just like when she copied Michelle Obama's speech.
From the article:
But the document copies sections almost word-for-word from a FTC pamphlet published in January 2014 as part of the agency’s “Net Cetera” campaign, which began under President Barack Obama in 2009. After tweaking some language and graphics and adding an introduction from the first lady, the White House uploaded the new document, “Talking With Kids About Being Online,” to its website as the only external resource for Trump’s new Be Best website
So she paraphrased concepts well understood and taught within academia and used property of the government as a government official? You've done the same in nearly any article or report you've done. Does the government have to reference itself? I'm sure Michelle Obama wasn't alone on writing her piece either. You could open any psychology/sociology text from the past 20 years and find references to what is in this piece.
I dunno, to me, that doesn't seem like something to get worked up about. Picking straws.
No one is crying, people are just pointing and laughing at her for plagiarizing an obama era thing again. The only one here being a salty boy is you lol.
How is it plagiarizing? It's government property. The government can't reference it's own material?
No one's really crying or bitching. It's just weird and funny because it's almost verbatim, so not just lifted or paraphrased.
They can reference their own material and I'm sure there's nothing actually "wrong" about this, but it sure does seem low effort and silly.
It's not like engineering concepts, it's literally words and it's not very hard to write or get someone to write it.
It, literally, falls under the laws for public domains.
Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong. Just seems weird to me people making this an issue.
Issues like this are silly.
That's why it was really silly when everything Michelle Obama, and Barrack Obama did during their residency in the White House was treated the same way, paving the way for this kind of level of discourse.
Got to continue the legacy I guess. I find these folk petty.
Idk the irony lays in trump party having an extreme hate boner for anything obama. But now the first lady has copies them verbatim and owns it like its hers. This isnt people laughing at trump for picking a different kind of mustard or wearing a yellow suit, its the irony of it all.
The old one didn't have a person tied to it, while the new one implies Melania created it (Although to be fair, the White House page itself states quite clearly that she is only promoting it). It's just a bit silly and not very professional. Strangely enough, if you follow the 'bulkorder' link at the last page of Melania's version, it leads to a page with a different new version that doesn't have the introductory "I made this" page. I don't think there's anything wrong with updating and re-releasing the pamphlet, but putting your name on it and implying authorship is low, although I will agree that it could have been unintentional.
just as a heads up, after this started circulating the whitehouse then updated it to say she's only promoting it.
I can see that it's minor, but I don't see how it's petty to react to it. It's just a bit of a gaffe, especially considering Melania's past plagiarism. It's this brand new initiative, and they couldn't be bothered to do some minor rewording? Build on the previous text all you want, just, while you're at it, put in a tiny amount of effort so that you don't risk these easily avoidable blunders.
Uhhhh stormy daniels actually helped bring Cohen under the spotlight and let people see all the shady shit hes been doing as his lawyer. No one is taking this seriously, except for the people crying about how it shouldn't be serious. Like congrats, heres your good boy points, now read the thread before you jump off the handle again.
The ultimate play, yes please
